The Global Soccer Tournament is coming to our backyard—and we’re celebrating the world’s game the best way we know how: with tacos that bring cultures, chefs, and bold flavors together in one perfect bite. For a limited time only, Puesto’s Tacos del Mundo menu showcases collaborations inspired by three different corners of the globe, and served at all San Diego Puesto locations.

The Tacos del Mundo Menu: Three Limited-Edition Tacos
All are available à la carte for the duration of the tournament.
- USA Smash Burger Taco: Wagyu, American cheese, secret sauce, caramelized onions, pickled chile pico, potato chips
- Spanish Octopus Taco: Grilled octopus, caramelized manchego, piri piri, pickled onions, cilantro
- Japanese Pork Belly Taco: Pork belly, salsa roja, kimchi, rice cracker, radish sprouts, furikake tortilla
USA Smash Burger Taco — $10
This is Puesto’s all-American nod to game-day flavors—done our way. A wagyu smash-style patty meets molten American cheese, a house secret sauce, and deeply caramelized onions. A pickled chile pico sharpens the edges, while potato chips add an unapologetic crunch.
Spanish Octopus Taco — $13
In collaboration with: Mabel’s Gone Fishing, chef Tanner Stanich
A tribute to Mabel’s beloved Octopus Con Migas, this taco layers tender grilled octopus over caramelized manchego, then paints on smoky piri piri. Pickled onions brighten the bite; cilantro lifts the finish.
Japanese Pork Belly Taco — $12
In collaboration with: Ken Sushi Workshop, chef Ken Lee
Chef Ken brings his personal story to the plate, with kimchi being his wife's favorite ingredient. Kurobuta pork belly for depth, a bold Mexican salsa roja shared by Puesto’s own kitchen talent, and a crisp rice element for texture—finished with radish sprouts on a furikake pressed tortilla.

USA Smash Burger Taco: Puesto Perfect margarita or Puesto Clara, our house brewed Mexican lager.
Spanish Octopus Taco: Paloma or white wine to complement seafood and manchego.
