August Taco of the Month

This month’s taco is a delicious grilled red snapper taco, complete with cantaloupe pico, avocado, cilantro, and hot sauce. Red snapper, known as Pargo en español, is a fish native to the Gulf of Mexico.

We cook the snapper on the plancha and then lay it over a fresh blue corn tortilla. It is then topped with an avocado slice and salsa made with cantaloupe, tomato, red onion, cilantro, lime, and habanero. The final touches are cilantro and a few dots of hot sauce. The base of the cantaloupe salsa is a classic pico de gallo, but with the addition of cantaloupe, it makes for the perfect sweet and heat balance.

This taco is the perfect, refreshing, summer bite.

Last Month to Enjoy Margarita of the Summer

In case you haven’t visited us this summer season, we’ve been celebrating our favorite fruit all summer long by turning it into a cocktail!

Our seasonal Avocado Margarita is made with Lunazul Reposado, fresh lime, agave, and avocado. The drink was launched in June in partnership with our friends at The Cado, a pop-up museum dedicated to all things avocado coming soon to San Diego.
